One Day Old

  • Oxygen saturation is up!

NICU nurse, Diane, reported at 5:30am that Logan's saturation was in the 90's! He received some IV meds that helped raise the levels. He is looking great in color and very stable and peaceful. She gave him a bath and he woke up and cried for her, even though he is partially sedated. He received a new long term IV in the arm to continue to administer medications.
Hopefully I get to see him tomorrow!

  • My sincerest thank you...

Bill has gone to visit Logan for a while and I am reading through the guestbook notes, emails, texts, and facebook posts. I am truly humbled by the amount of people praying for Logan. Thank you for each second you take out of your busy schedules to think of our sweet little boy. I feel so helpless, at a different hospital, with nothing I can physically do to help. Reading each prayer and Bible verse reminds me that I AM helpless without God. It will be His timing and His answers, not mine. Each prayer tells God that we do believe in His almighty healing power.

I was able to get up and walk around this afternoon and will be discharged in the morning so that I can be at Children's with Logan. Luke, Lora, and Lexi are at my parents house for a while, and see this as an "extended" summer break. They are already so in love with Logan and have made him cards and posters and crafts. I can't wait to see all four of them together!
