Sometimes I just sit and laugh at the things that come out of my kids' mouths! When they were younger, I used to love hearing them say words that were funny. Luke used to say "ahpito" and "pawnee" and we never knew what they meant, but it was hilarious when he said them. He also used to call our dogs "bobos". Lora couldn't say "Luke" right away, so she always said "ook". Now that their speech is fine, the actual words that come out are the funny part. Here are a few funny ones from the past couple of weeks:
- In Myrtle Beach, walking down the strip, Lora sees a grungy looking man with a rather shaggy white beard. She politely looked him in the eye, waved, and said, "Hi Santa" and then kept walking, never missing a beat.
- At dinner (at the bar in Myrtle Beach) all the kids had to go to the bathroom. I volunteered to take them and then go outside to listen to the live music. All the adults said they would join us "after they finish their beers". On our way to the bathroom, Lora says (loudly), "I'm going to the bathroom, then I'm going to dance. But, first I have to finish my beer."
-While passing a karaoke bar, Lora says, "That man sings really bad!"
- Lora says, "Mommy, I can touch at the 3 F-T (meaning 3feet!)
- Lora says, "Mommy, your tummy is really skinny" "But Lora, I have a baby in there". "But mommy, Daddy said we can't tell you that your tummy is fat."
- Luke got a toy airplane in Myrtle Beach. It's a Navy plane. While in the airport he asked Bill what the things on the side of the plane are. Bill explained that they are bombs. Luke says, "I have bombs on my plane and I'm going to blow you all up!" SHHHHH - not in an airport!!!
So cute- I LOVE this post! Thanks for sharing ;)
