Bottom of the 4th...

You could say I'm in the bottom of the 4th inning. Since we are a football family you could also say that I am just a few minutes shy of halftime. Or maybe I just teed off at the 4th hole. Regardless of how you put it, I'm 18.5 weeks along and can't believe I'm almost 1/2 way done with this pregnancy! The first 12 weeks were so long as we waited for the OK so that we could spread our exciting news. The last 6 weeks have flown by. I'm feeling good except for some occasional, really nasty heartburn. It's probably attributed to my love of Mexican food, seafood, Chinese food, and the super duper yummy tapas we had at Boogaloo last Saturday night! I also have a "beautiful" varicose vein that insists on turning the back of my left knee a fantastic shade of purple and then artistically snaking it's way all the way up until....it can't snake anymore! Luke got some pen on his legs last week when drawing in the car. He said, "Look mommy. I have black marks on my leg just like you do!" Nice Luke. Here are some 18 week pics....
