My newest addiction

As a "teacher's appreciation" gift and an early "push present", I bought myself an embroidery machine. I have    been researching and looking and dreaming for years and Bill finally said, "By the time you make the decision to get one, the kids won't wear anything monogrammed anymore!"  So...I bought it....

And spent many hours reading the 200 page manual....

And broke 2 needles....

And accidentally sewed the front of the shirt to the back of the shirt....

And after a night of staying up til the weeeeee hours of the morning....

I came up with some finished products!!

I can see this becoming rather addicting and already warned Bill that he may come home to find everything (from towels to his underwear) embroidered!  And my sister, Laura, said it best, "oooh! What other titles can we put on purchases to justify that we deserve them!!!"
