It's a ...

Blue=BOY

Comparing the "bumps"

Blue cupcakes!!
We had our ultrasound done on March 28.  We had originally thought we did not want to find out if this was a boy or a girl. However, after much prodding from the kids, we decided to find out. The technician wrote the gender on a small notecard and put it on top of the revealing ultrasound pictures. She put it in a sealed envelope. After the doctor's appointment we went to O'Charleys for lunch.  Bill took the day off of school so we spent the whole day as a family.  Everyone screamed when we opened the envelope to reveal.....a BOY!  Luke was ecstatic to discover he would have a future "playmate".  We announced the news to my family a few days later when my mom threw a "revealing party" for me.  She had a room full of balloons. All three kids took turns popping them until there was one pink and one blue remaining.  Then Luke popped the pink one, leaving only the blue balloon!  Laura and Jordan (my sister and husband) were there. She is expecting her first baby on June 9 - a girl!  Ted and Alicia (my brother and wife) were on skype. Their little boy Beckam, Laura's little girl, and our baby boy, will all be less than a year apart in age.  The celebration concluded with blue cupcakes!
