We started our Turkey Day off the same way we have for the past 12 years. We attended Kirkwood's annual Chili cookoff and pep rally. This is always a highlight for me. I love chili and I love tasting all the different types of chili from the area restaurants. I also love watching the cheerleaders, the dance squad, the band, the excited football players, and the sense of community. The school is always standing room only for both chili and pep rally. My kids have recognized this tradition and are almost as excited as I am!
Unfortunately, Kirkwood lost the annual Turkey Day game today, 40-14.
