The night was rounded out with hot dogs, chili, cider, and a large fire in our firepit in the driveway. Our first Halloween in our new neighborhood was a huge success!

May the Force be with You
Luke decided this year's theme. When I found the stormtrooper costume at goodwill, I was assuming it would go into the dress up bin. It went straight onto Luke's head and he declared it was his Halloween costume. If Luke got to be a stormtrooper then Lora demanded that she would be Princess Leia. With a stormtrooper and a princess, what more do you need?? A baby yoda! Lexi loved her hat and kept it on the entire night. She got into the spirit of the night by going up to each house and saying "Trick or Treat", taking the the candy, then saying "Next House". Luke and Lora had their standard jokes. Lora: "why can't an egg tell a joke? Because it will crack up!" Luke: "What do you call a truck that runs over a monster? A monster truck."
