Holiday Let Down?

The holidays are so much fun. I plan and prepare. I search for the perfect gift and excitedly buy it for that special person. I clean, bake, wrap, sew. I write, stuff, stamp, and address. I love all of it and I love getting the kids involved. Here are a few of the things that we did to help prepare for the Christmas holiday!
We made a nativity scene out of sugar cookies. The kids left them out for Santa, to "teach him the true meaning of Christmas!"

I bought the kids Christmas shirts. Lora and Lexi wore them with their matching "silver skirts" to church.

We made plates of cookies for the neighbors. We had reindeer cupcakes, snowman cupcakes, melted Christmas tree cupcakes, and pretzel/M&M cookies.

Luke created a nativity scene out of his Legos. It's hard to get the full effect here, but Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus are on the left in the stable. In the middle you can see three shephards with hooks and the bowing Jedi's are the sheep. On the right is Kind Herod talking to the three wise men.
So now that Christmas is over, is there holiday let down? A little. But, we'll stay plenty busy with other events!
