I'm just sayin'

There is a segment on our evening news called "I'm just sayin'" where people can pretty much give their opinion on any topic (usually politics or some other hot topic). Somedays I feel that my kids welcome the same open mic policy around our house. And I love it. Here are some recent quotes that I want to never forget.
-Luke: while drawing a picture of a space ship he drew a TV on his space ship. He says, "Mom, FOX news is on the TV right now. See Glenn Beck."
-Luke: "Are we working on addition and distraction today?" (meant to say SUBTRACTION)
-Lora: "Lexi, stop crying or no one will want to play with you."
-Luke: We walked into dance class with Lexi and she was hungry so she was crying. Luke says, "Mom, make her stop crying. That is so embarrassing."
- Luke: "Mom, let's look for a buy one, get one free coupon for a DS. I want to pick up one for me AND Lora"
-Lora: "Dear Jesus, please help the doctor get all the little germies out" (when grandpa was sick)

And my new all time favorite was just said today. We are finishing up our botany unit for science over the summer. We are studying different ways that plants scatter their seeds. There is a special plant that has fruits that actually burst open and the seeds literally pop out. The book said it makes a small popping noise like gunfire. Luke says, "Do you think it sounds like a handgun or a rifle?"
