Proudest Moment

On March 8th, as we are in the car driving, Luke announces that he would like to be baptized. At Gateway Christian Church we do not baptize as infants, but the families dedicate their children to the church, promising to raise them in the church and help them with their walk of faith. Baptism is saved for when the individual feels ready to make their own decision. And Luke did! We are so proud of how mature he is. He requested that Daddy and Mommy baptize him. Bill did all the talking (as I couldn't!) and he summed it all up when he said, "We are so proud of Luke. For those of you that know him, he is a smart little boy. And we believe that he has it all figured out and is more mature at age 6 than I was at age 26." I second that...
