4 months already!

Lexi is 4 months old...what is she doing now?
Physical therapist update: According to the Peabody Developmental Motor Skills standardized test, Lexi is age appropriate with all gross motor skills. She is demonstrating with the appropriate reflexes of palmar and plantar grasp, decreased ATNR, and emerging Landau reflex. She demonstrates with head righting reflexes in all planes and is not showing any abnormal reflexes or movement patterns at this time. Movements are becoming more voluntary and purposeful. She is able to reciprocally kick and reach to midline for objects. She is bringing objects to her mouth and lifting her legs bilaterally to 90 degrees of hip flexion. She sits with a flexed spine in a propped position. She exhibits the ability to roll from back to side and has turned completely from back to tummy and tummy to back on several occasions. When in a prone position, she can push up on to elbows and is now weightshifting to one side to reach for a toy while maintaining balance on the opposite elbow.
OK..I've been writing too many reports lately and unfortunately, speaking about Lexi in PT terms comes the most natural! In REAL MOMMY words, Lexi is doing awesome! She smiles, cooes, and interacts with anyone who will pay attention to her! She is rolling and reaching and kicking. She has almost found her toes and has started pulling rings off her gym or stealing toys that are lying next to her on the floor. She will help hold her bottle (although she only gets one a week) and is sitting in a high chair with the family for meals. She enjoys her tummy and loves to look at herself in the mirror. She can roll in both directions, but not purpseful yet, so she gets rather surprised when she flips herself over! She is so much fun and growing up way too fast.
