Lora often complains of getting food stuck in her teeth, so when she took a bite of a granola bar and complained of food in her teeth, we got the floss out like we normally do. When we began looking at her back molar, half of it was missing! She wasn't in pain, but we scheduled an immediate dentist appointment. It turns out that she had a cavity and it caused half the tooth to break off. Ugh! However, the dentist was awesome and he filled the tooth with a "silver star" without ANY USE of novacaine or pain medicine. Lora is very proud of her "silver star" and when we left the dentist she said, "Mommy, I want to marry Dr. Newton!"
