Life continues to change and evolve and this blog allows me a place to record it all, so that I can look back and remember it all. Because a memory is not a memory unless it is revisited.
As happy as I am with my children's independence, this is what happens when I allow them to dress themselves. Even on my worst day I WOULD PICK THIS battle. They won't be leaving the house looking like this!
Not so fast, Jen, there may be a fabulous idea here: have them dress like this and then roll them around the back yard on a rainy day. Then drive to our old apartment in the West End and park on the good side of the building. Cut through the gate to the bad side of the building and wander with them up and down the street holding a dirty mug, babbling nonsense and occasionally laughing hysterically. By the end of the day you'd have baby #3's delivery paid for. Just a thought. :)
You make me laugh so hard I can't tell if I peed my pants or my water broke!! Do you think the hourly wage in your scenario pays better than the hourly wage I get from 6.5 years of school and $50K? Probably!!
