We have a new addition!! Leo Marty Bensinger, born on February 14, joined our family on April 12, 2014. Bill had been searching rescue sites for the perfect dog. This little guy had 11 brothers and sisters! His mom was found wandering around Poplar Bluff, homeless, pregnant, and starving in the middle of winter. A shelter picked her up and she had 12 puppies. Leo was one of the boys, and supposedly, one of the quietest!! However, when he got home he started showing his spunk!! He loves to wrestle with Luke, bite Logan's ears, chase Lexi, and lick Lora. He sleeps in the oddest places and we often "lose" him....until we look in the shower, behind the toilet, or under the couch! He likes to antagonize Sparkle and get her all riled up! He is still getting used to his leash and collar, but loves to be around people. HE does NOT like his cage and being left alone. He is doing well with potty training and usually goes outside! He is supposed to be my birthday gift (36 years!), but in reality, Luke takes care of him more than anyone else in the family!
