We always love visiting the farm and there is always so much to do there. It is the perfect compliment to the "city life" that we live! Leo got his first taste of the farm by meeting Rocky, my parent's faithful lab. Rocky was so patient with him, letting him jump all over him and nip at his back! My family has always been a "dog family" and it was fun to watch Leo and Rocky run around together. Nugget, Rocky's dad, passed away at the end of last summer, just a week before Marty. Watching these two play together was bittersweet as we remembered last summer.
One of the kids' favorite places is out at the pond. We drove the razor, golfcart, and "amphibian" thing out to the pond for a beautiful picnic lunch. After the lunch, the kids took advantage of the warm weather and played in the "sand" and water. We weren't prepared for the 82 degree weather and therefore didn't have swimsuits!! The kids didn't seem to care!
Logan LOVED playing with Isla. We wanted to share toys with her, point to her EYES, and crawl next to her. Isla is just starting to crawl, so she was the perfect playmate for him!
Sunday mornings are always crazy at my parents, as we all try to get ready to go to church. During church, Luke played two songs on the piano (Minuet and Jesus loves the little Children). Lora played "God is so Good" on her guitar. I was so proud of both of them!
Cousin Sophie wanted her picture taken too!! I couldn't get over how cute she looked in her rain boots!!
