Everything at Grandma and Grandpa Ufkes' farm revolves around a competition or game. Whenever we are there we are always playing baseball, hitting golf balls, throwing frisbees, or racing kayaks. One of the favorite competitions among the boys is some form of shooting. They might shoot rifles or handguns (or other weapons that I don't have names for!). The recent infatuation is with bow shooting. So, it was only appropriate that Luke got his own bow for his birthday. After a few days of practice he became pretty proficient with it. By the time we got home, even Lora was begging for a turn!!
