Jacob and Cameron's mom just had a baby so they spent the afternoon hanging with us while mom got a much needed break. The boys are twins and Lora is "in love" with Jacob. However, she enjoyed hanging out with both of them. In fact, my favorite quote of the day was, "Mommy. I'm going to marry Jacob. Or is it Cameron that I like? I can't remember."
One afternoon, Lexi kept herself busy by filling my keurig cup rack. With all the excitement that takes place in our house everyday, I'm always looking for something to entertain her for a few moments so I can tend to someone else!
One of our highlights was going to a Gateway Grizzlies baseball game. We had front row seats (although there are only about 6 rows total!) and there were so few children at the game that they picked OUR kids to sing Take Me Out to the BAllgame at the 7th inning stretch. Luke, Lora, the 4 Imhoff kids, and Milo T. sang together.

Lora has become quite the baker this summer. Almost every day she helps me make rice krispies, brownies, cake, pancakes, etc.
The drive-in movie is one of our favorite activites. We joined three other families and saw Spy Kids and Smurfs (double feature). Poor Luke nursed his broken arm during the movie.
So, summer is officially over. School has started, football has started, and the busyness of the fall has begun to set in.
