GO GO GO

We love to travel! So...surprise surprise, Lexi's first word was "GO GO GO! " Every morning I get her out of her bed and say, "Lexi, you ready to GO GO GO!" So, now when I get her out of her bed, she looks up at me and says, "GO GO GO!"

One of our most recent trips was to Ft. Wayne IN. My WONDERFUL friend Amy agreed to entertain us for a weekend while Bill had football and class all weekend. The kids were angels on the drive up and we arrived around 10pm, just in time for the kids to get all wild and wound up and ready to play. Around midnight we were able to completely quiet them and get a few hours of sleep. Saturday we tackled a (failed) bike ride, lots of outside play, some homemade pizza, and lots of dress up and gigles. The kids LOVED Haley and Jesse's Sunday school on Sunday and another (not quite so failed) bike ride. The 6 hour drive home was amazing and the kids travelled so well that it makes me fear that I could possibly tackle the long drive by myself again...

The best part was that Amy and I got a chance to catch up. I could talk to her all day, every day, about everything, and not really run out of things to talk about. This could be why Bill stayed at home...
